1.) BATTERY QUARTZ SET AND FORGET MOVEMENTS Comes in 2 shaft lengths ($18.95ea). Great for Daylight Savings.
BQ3SF-S: short shaft for mounting thickness 1/8" (NO LONGER AVAILABLE) If you wish to use a set and forget movement for a thinner dial, please consider using additional spacers with the longer movement, below.
BQ3SF-L: long shaft for mounting thickness up to 11/16", overall shaft length 1-1/8"
Movement Case Measures 2-1/8" x 2-1/8" x 5/8"
These "set and forget" movements are non-pendulum and non- chiming, and perform just as their name suggests; when daylight saving time rolls around they automatically adjust to the correct time, so you never have to worry about it. There is a small switch at the back, that needs to be set to "on" in order to use this function.
2.) STANDARD MINI QUARTZ MOVEMENTS (no chime/pendulum): Come in 4 shaft lengths. Measurement below is referring to the MAXIMUM DIAL THICKNESS (from $7.95)
BQ3S-SW: short shaft for mounting thickness up to 1/4" with on/off switch to turn movement off if going away for a prolonged time and want to stop movement. ($8.95)
BQ3S: short shaft for mounting thickness up to 3/8"
BQ3L: long shaft for mounting thickness up to 5/8"
BQ3XL: extra long shaft for mounting thickness up to 3/4"

3.) CONTINUOUS SWEEP MINI QUARTZ MOVEMENTS: Come in 2 shaft lengths ($15.95 ea.)

The continuous sweep movement has a second hand that moves in a sweeping motion, rather than traditional battery movements whose second hands travel in a stepping motion. Not only do continuous movements give your clock a different look, but they are said to be quieter too since you don't hear the ticking noise as it travels through the seconds.
All battery movements on this page take a "AA" battery.
