My wife fell in love with a Sligh clock at an antique/secondhand store. It had a beautiful wood case with beveled glass, but everything else was missing or needed to be replaced, including the movement, chimes, pendulum, weights and the face. There are a lot of clock supply places online but until I discovered Arek’s, I couldn’t find one where anyone seemed to know how to match all the replacement parts to each other. The original movement was no longer available and the weights were missing, so I didn’t know what to buy. A few places sold packages that contained the missing parts, but they were too small for this large case, which looks like a wall-mounted grandfather clock. I gave Arek the inside measurements of the clock, she consulted with people at Hermle movements and she was able to put together a package that contained everything I needed. My only experience at building a clock was an Emperor grandfather clock about 25 years ago, so I had to rely on Arek for a lot of advice, which she was always ready to provide, or to put me in touch with someone who could help. It was great service, great parts and just a great experience working with someone who is so willing to help you AFTER the sale.
