on the hour and then strike the hour.

These chiming battery movements feature Quartz accuracy, Westminster chimes and a step second hand. The chime speaker
and sound box are mounted on top of the movement. The pendulum version includes a standard 17" (432 mm) pendulum
with a bob of 2.75" (70 mm) diameter. (Optional pendulums are LPB2 and RAP17C, page 41 and ,page 37) Hour,

These exciting quartz chime movements are made in Germany. Their superior chime quality is achieved by a separate
2.6" (66 mm) diameter speaker. Other features include Westminster or Bim Bam (Ding Dong) chimes and a volume
control. Automatic nighttime reduction or shutoff can be set. The pendulum version includes a 14" (360 mm)
brass pendulum, which can be shortened, and a 2.75" (70 mm) diameter bob. (Optional pendulums are LPB2 and
RAP17C.) Hour, minute and second hands with all mounting hardware are included in the price. For styles and sizes

Some clock builders requested a less expensive version of a mechanical movement, which would drive a long pendulum
and had good quality Westminster chimes. This new Hermle movement offers these features and more. Its case incorporates
the speaker and allows you to hang ornamental weight shells like those shown below. It has an extra-long handshaft
and a heavy duty drive coil, which is able to swing the 34" (870 mm) LPB3 lyre pendulum(page 41).
